I have become impatient. I want Spring and warmth and pretty flowers to look at and photograph. I don’t want snow or rain…just warmth.
Creeping Phlox that will bloom in a few more weeks... maybe… if it ever warms up again.
Good News: It didn’t snow yesterday! Bad News : It was cold enough to snow.
I am glad you put a picture of those flowers. I love seeing them cascade over the hilly edges of people's properties. Those are one of the beauties of spring. Pine pollen is NOT. Fortunately it is gone in our area - - finally - - once again for one more year - - but not before it sent a LOT of people to the doctor.
ReplyDeleteSure hope you get your warm weather soon. I too am an impatient person and after this past winter I want flowers and warm weather. Love the Creeping Phlox.
ReplyDeleteI love phlox, too, and see it in the mountains during the summer months. We had more snow than ever before in the mountains, so who knows when we might get up there to see it? I hope we'll both get to see our phlox sometime, if not soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteBad news! It's snowing here again today! It's coming your way! It is getting to be late and I'm a little tired of snow every two days.
ReplyDeleteSaw that it was raining and dreary! I was planning to do the 12-hour drive in early May to spring clean our small cabin. Might put that off a bit!
ReplyDeleteMy Creeping Phlox which had been spreading beautiful for years gave up the ghost and died this year. No idea why.
ReplyDeleteI think they call it fake news now.
ReplyDeleteOur creeping phlox has bloomed and gone,it is a early
bloomer here.
Sorry miss read your news!
ReplyDeleteI SO UNDERSTAND! We still have the furnace running at night. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteWe are still in April showers mode and it is becoming tiring. We get the occasional nice day, but not enough of them. Seems like a very rainy Spring. March only had 2 or 3 days without rain and April does not seem like it has been much better.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could spend your Spring down here...it's the best season they have aside from severe weather sometimes. It's great temps, lots of flowers and flowering trees and no humidity....yet. Summers are too hot and so are the Falls and Winter is nothing to write home about.
ReplyDeleteI saw that we could maybe have a little snow tomorrow, too. Cold enough--yes! Spring is around the corner, though. ;)
ReplyDeleteSnow here too! I love that shot.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures have to get us through, right? I heard snow in the forecast for the cities. If we get it, I'll be comisserarting with you! It won't stay, but this late in April we get whining rights, don't we?
ReplyDeleteThe north wind brought in some cold air, some rain, and some snow. I'm getting weary of cold weather and long for warm sunshine.
ReplyDeleteI am impatient for warmth, but at least I have color and growth. I feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what should be blooming anymore. I just mowed up at the farm today wearing winter clothes. Stocking hat was needed and gloves worked well too. Our lilacs are partially in bloom now.
