Sunset

The sunset colors were beautiful last night.  Our weather has turned warm for February.  It was about 36 F yesterday or  2C eh!  Today it may be 50 F or 10 C  eh!!!

The colors were beautiful behind the naked Oaks.

I have been working at “stuff” on my desk all week.  No noticeable progress has been made.   Ongoing was sure a good word for me this year.  In the midst of clearing out drawers and files I found three or four more large projects.  The most important one is all the family stories that my Father has shared with me.  I took notes on what ever piece of paper I had when he was in a talking mood…it all needs to be organized. At least most of the notes are in the same place now.  I would like to get it all put together and have him go over it and correct it where needed.  The other three projects are important only to me and will probably go on the back burner for a bit.

    What a gorgeous sunset. Family stories are so precious and writing them down and having them fact-checked is a very smart idea. I have some casette tapes of my aunt telling stories and now I have no way of replaying them. Boo hoo. If they were on paper that would not be a problem.

    Your family will appreciate your Dad's stories and memories were written down. How I wish I had written down some of my Mom's memories.

    You are wise to collect your Dad's stories. So many of us don't realize the importance of doing that when we are younger and have the opportunity. Beautiful sunset photo!

    Beautiful sunsets which I really miss....too many trees here! I can see part of it but I'm never in the west part of the house at that time of day and all of a sudden it's dark! LOL! Where does the time go?
