Hiya! It is finally my turn. I have company… Miss Miney and Little Elvis came to visit.
Far Side took us out to play ball but she played keep away and held the ball in one hand and the camera in the other. She is funny like that.
Sometimes I just watch when Miney runs after the ball and Little Elvis chases Miney…she sometimes drops the ball and gives him “the what for.”
See how Little Elvis herds me and the ball. ( I never give him “the what for” I am patient like that.) Little Elvis can run like the wind and almost caught himself a squirrel yesterday…wonder what he would do if he caught it…probably lick it to death.
Little Elvis and Miss Miney have a doggy door at their house. When they are with us Little Elvis licks someones hand when he has to go out and Miss Miney looks at them and sometimes puts her head in their lap.
We like having company. There is some big ball game on today but we will just play ball outside, or watch the other dogs play ball. I am getting older and sometime I just lay down with the ball.
Hi Chance! I love these photos of you guys.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking group and what fun! Mom used to raise collies and she has a real soft spot in her heart for them. It's pretty cold here(I like it that way) but Annie was born here and she has to have a blanket she gets so cold. I miss the snow as I love to run in it and bury my nose in it. Have fun with your relatives! Mom's not sure she will be able to watch the entire game as it will run past her bedtime. Don't freeze your paws! .......Nitty, Annie, Grace and Miss Peeps
ReplyDeleteP.S. You've heard of Driving Miss Daisy? Well, around here it's raising Miss Peeps! She can still be a pistol.....much better but still has a lot of kitten (feral kitten I might add) in her! I'm getting too old for this!
Playing ball looks like fun, but oh that snow looks cold.
ReplyDeleteI always like it when its your turn to blog, Chance! I'm getting older too. It's hard sometimes. Boomer
ReplyDeleteAh, that first photo is just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's getting harder to keep up with the kids these days. I know about that.
I like to read your posts, Chance. I don't play ball very well, it I like it when friends come to visit. It looks pretty cold there. Lady Caroline
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is lovely! Jake (12.5) had a race around in our big snowfall with the puppy yesterday! First time they have played together, it was fun to see :)
ReplyDeleteNice for you to have visitors, does Farside have a ball to throw for everyone, or do you have to share?
Hi Chance! You are such a wonderful host when your friends come over to visit. Looks like you all had a lot of fun. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteChance, you're funny when you just lay down with the ball.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting older too, Chance. I like to watch the young ones play while I sit back and relax. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Chance! I love it when it's your turn! It is so nice that you have friends to come over and play. Looks like you all had fun! Stay warm out there.
ReplyDeleteHi Chance:
ReplyDeleteThe canine here likes to have a ball in his mouth or by his side even if he is tired of playing fetch. He is very good at catching the ball in his mouth too. Good to hear from you - it's been a while.

Hiya Chance, Good looking group pix you got there from Far Side. I'd play ball with you if I could but I am apparently not so good at walking on slippery stuff!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful dogs!
ReplyDeleteAwww.....cute pics of Chance and his doggie buddies!
ReplyDeleteChance you are such a good dog.
ReplyDeleteAll three of you are such good-looking dogs. They must keep you busy watching them misbehave.
