It is done! Actually I thought it was done once, took some photos and added just a few more ornaments. Typical for me.
Finished finally! Far Guy wants a photo from outside..there is about a foot of snow on that deck. It has not been a priority for shoveling.
The Gingham Ornament is one from Susan, this is it’s first year on the tree!
This is an ornament from Kansas Kay!
Ornaments and the snowy deck.
There it is…decorated before Christmas!
It is still cold here…brrrr. Headed for dangerous wind chills on Saturday and Sunday. Wind is expected and lows will be –20 to –30F or –28 to 34C eh. Winter Fun in Minnefreezeyourbuttoffsota!
Beautiful. I hope you and Gene have a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWe'll done!
ReplyDeleteLovely! We got ours done last night. Son arriving home from England today. Sooo excited!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! What a wonderful way to display your treasures. By the way, what is the picture that is hanging to the left of your sliding door? Is it of a falls?
ReplyDeleteYes it is an antique photo of a waterfall. :)
DeleteHere is something for the grandkids to try or maybe they have before. I read on Pinterest or someplace that if you blow bubbles outside - - the kind of bubble solution used in the summer months - - that they will freeze. We have never tried that but it would be fun? If they get bored, have them experiment for us in the South.
ReplyDeleteThe tree looks BEAUTIFUL! Glad you are having good days to do your traditional stuff. That Lyme's really hits hard sometimes, doesn't it? I hate that for someone as creative and motivated as you are.
Lovely!! And so shiny, of course. ;) But be careful if you go out on the deck. I'd wait until it warms up a bit in a couple days. Monday could be 24 above instead of 24 below--LOL! And that's not even wind chill temps. Brrrr! I think of poor Chance and whoever goes out with him, if you even do when it's this darn cold. Stay warm!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the hangers too! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is getting to be almost filled. A hundred more would mean that we couldn't see any green at all of the tree. It is beautiful. We have yet to put up the village but it can be done in an hour or less. I have all things carried upstairs waiting for the two people to attack, get on to the process. We are getting the snow and the very cold wind. My birds are being blown off of the feeder while I try to take their photos. This may go down as one of our longest winters to endure even thought it started so late. You two have been at it a few more weeks longer than us. Stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteIt is the most beautiful tree ever! I love the gingham ornament especially. Stay warm and safe! And I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas. I figure you'll be posting a time or two before then, so this is the first of your Merry Christmas wishes from me to you. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your tree! It just most beautiful! You be careful there in that wind...it's 8* here and a terrible wind...winter...I'm so ready for summer.
ReplyDeleteLinda
So pretty, joyous and festive! I'm sure it keeps things warmer to have all the light and sparkles coming off your trees. There are LOTS of things I miss about Minnesota, but winter weather is not one of them.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is beautiful! I've probably said this before, but I love your pretty warm wood walls. Sometimes I think I'm tired of our log and cedar walls, but really not...they are cozy and warm.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful, Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI like the big long word at the end of the post. I hope it gets in the dictionary next year. Beautiful tree. You should be proud.
ReplyDeleteI would be eating hot soup all winter in those temps! It was 73 here today but tonight -5......can you believe it? Crazy! My feet are already getting cold.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is magnificent and I loved that you featured a few very special ornaments! Stay warm!
Still on my blog break, but I stopped by to see your Shiny Brite tree and I showed GN, too! They weren't kidding when they gave us the wind chill temps. Yikes! Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThe tree looks great.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! We think it is cold here at 22 above zero.
Brrr! Keep warm! Your second tree looks lovely too. We bought ours yesterday and are going to dress it today!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You always do a lovely--no, two lovely trees! Just the finishing touch to keep you indoors and out of the freezing cold wind!
