Fall will be officially here today. Here in Minnesota sunsets happen rapidly this time of year one moment it is a pretty sunset and the next minute the sun is gone…no lingering.
The trees are starting to turn color.
Leaf by leaf the trees secumb to Fall…time for them to rest.
I should make up a list of Fall projects…on the top is waiting for the leaves to fall and to clean out my car. I probably should find time to wash some windows too before it snows.
Pretty fall trees, Connie. I need to devote a morning to cleaning my car, inside and out! Wishing you a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteHappy first Day of Fall. Leaves have started turning around here also and the days are noticeably shorter. Just hope the humidity gets the memo about Fall and drops like the leaves are. hehe
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season of the year! From here on the days gets shorter and shorter as the nights get longer until winter starts, and the days begin to lengthen again. Nice system, eh? Love the trees. :-)
ReplyDeleteFall has always been my favorite time of year. In the South, however, it doesn't seem to come until the end of November and then it's not very dramatic at all. Yours are the first photos I've seen of the trees in all their colorful glory and now I'm a bit homesick! I guess I'll just have to go for a beach walk to cheer myself up. 😊
ReplyDeleteOne of my trees is dropping leaves quickly this year. It seems earlier than usual.
ReplyDeleteNot fall color here yet or cooler weather, now
ReplyDeleteis the time I wish I lived where you do.
Beautiful weather in fall!
I saw the first fallen maple leaves this morning, right on cue for the first day of fall. No real colour here yet though.
ReplyDeleteYes...Fall! YAY! I can't wait for cooler temps here. Your trees are gorgeous. I so wish I was up North now and forever! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour trees are LOVELY! I need to clean my car also! I did get the windows washed yesterday. And I need to finish painting the chicken house.
ReplyDeleteHappy FALL!
Linda
Fall is a pleasant beautiful time of year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees. Our trees are still mostly green. Just a few have a red or yellow leaf here and there. Our color season is in mid-October. I smiled at your to do list, especially the one about waiting for the leaves to fall. I have found that I am getting more and more inclined to wait around and watch what happens. Our fall crocuses are blooming. We just have yellow ones. They come in other colors, too.
ReplyDeleteA lot ofleaves have fallen already here, because it was so dry for a while. Still loads to go though, they won't be done until probably the end of November. Your trees are such a pretty colour!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that screams Fall to me more than the colors of the trees. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Noreen
My car doesn't really need vacuuming but oh my windows! I detest cleaning windows, maybe because I don't ever do a good job.
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning color! Thanks for sharing that photograph! Happy Fall :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful tree. My neighbors maples have not shown any signs of change in color but it won't be long. I have neighbor's big leaves blowing over to be mowed up with I cut the grass.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color! We are so dry here that I'm betting we have a dead fall :-(.
