15

The baby of the family who will always be the baby turns 15 today.  He was born on Labor Day.  I was honored to be there for his birth.

2003 Adam in the basket and Noah.  I think we kept toys in that basket. Adam was two. The house was not finished yet…plastic covered yellow insulation covered our walls. We still have that love seat it is upstairs…it used to be just perfect for Adam to nap on.

Adam Christmas 2006

Christmas Eve 2006 Adam got a set of cap pistols and a holster. (We picked it out for him.) Photo taken at their other house in Fisher.

Dear Adam, I cannot believe you are 15 years old.  We can go driving together now legally.  I am not sorry for the day I made you drive on the gravel road…you did great…you just need more practice.  Thanks for choosing to spend time with us this summer, we loved having you all to ourselves. We are very proud to be your Grandparents…and we love you unconditionally no matter what. Happy 15th birthday!!!!  Love Gramma and Grandpa too!

  7. You and I have been blog friends since 2008 and it has been a joy for you to share your children/grandchildren and Chance, of course. As you commented on L.D.'s blog, we all learn to love one another's family thru their blogs. God bless you all this weekend and happy birthday to Adam!

  9. My baby boy was born on Labor Day, too, 31 years ago. And he just had a baby boy of his own. Time flies too fast.
