This is Maddie’s Senior Prom. She will graduate in a few weeks.
I always have to get the back of these gowns, because in a few years they will have forgotten.
Maddie and her beau.
I was relieved that the bracelet I made for her fit!
Maddie’s group of friends
Chance loves Maddie, and she loves him
Paige and Maddie, they are one year apart in age…355 days. (yes we were busy when they were little) I said back then, “Just wait until you are buying prom dresses and then wedding dresses!”
Grand March
It was a fun afternoon, it is wonderful to see them all dressed up ready for a night out! It was a good thing prom was last weekend, this weekend they would have to wear parkas…it sleeted yesterday and was barely 40F or 4C eh…and windy.
the gang's all there
ReplyDeleteBeautiful young woman.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, too! I love the background with the water and bridge. Our weekend is a bit cooler, also - - only low 70's today and 44 tonight. Perfectly delightful.
ReplyDeleteYes, prom weekends are busy and exciting for the kids. All best to them for a bright future.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girl, beautiful dress.
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed to get to be such vital parts of your grandchildren's lives.

What a lovely granddaughter, and great photos of a special occasion. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMaddie is beautiful and looks so happy on this special day.
ReplyDeleteProm usually brought bad weather when I was still working - torrential rain or freezing temperatures and snow. Of all the proms I chaperoned, I can only remember a handful when the weather was nice.
Beautiful girls and a happy time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely setting for the Grand March! It looks classy. Sweet photos. The bracelet is lovely! Looks a little nippy on the bridge, though, Brrr!
ReplyDeleteLovely young lady, and you were good to photo the back of the dress which is quite pretty too.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. So young! (sigh) This is he time of their lives!
ReplyDeleteWow, the two of them will be out of the house so quickly. We had a three year break between the guys but it still was hard. Beautiful dresses and great looking grand girls.
ReplyDeleteMaddie and Paige both are beautiful! I really like Maddie's hair dark. I love the picture of Maddie and Chance, both dressed in black and white. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice that they will be able to go back on your blog to see what they wore to prom and what the whole gang of grands looked like over the years. Your blog is a precious family heirloom!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely gowns, and beautiful young ladies!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you did take a picture of the back of the dress - Wow! It's beautiful. I also liked the garter and the slit - cute!
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed your prom series. Brings back happy memories of my kid's proms. Ten years ago for the youngest. We too enjoyed the Grand Marches and all the beautiful young people. Your Grands are lucky to have you to record it all for them to look at later.
ReplyDelete...and a photo op with Chance! ;)
ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful woman, all grown up. Haven't I been seeing pictures of her here since she was little? Where does the time go? And Chance is looking quite handsome and matched perfectly. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose girls look like movie stars! Yes, glad you got pictures of the back!
