I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,
Of Jesus and his love.
I love to tell the story,
Because I know its true;
It satisfies my longings
As nothing else would do.
I love to tell the story,
'Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...sweet hymn! Hope yours was a blessed Easter with those you love!
ReplyDeleteI love that hymn, too. There are many, many of the hymns I love because they have such great theology. Our church used to sing many of them but now we just sing a few because a lot of contemporary music has been incorporated. Some I like but the endless repetitions of redundant phrase stop resonating with me after a while.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful hymn. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
