Last week one evening we attended an evening Hockey Game. Paige’s team was playing locally just 32 miles from us. We met my other baby brother and his wife for supper at a Taco place and then we all attended the game.
Paige is number 5.
It was a good game.
Far Guy wishing all the players Good Luck!
Paige’s team won and Paige assisted with one goal.
These girls had a really busy week with three Hockey games (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and then the winter formal on Saturday night. I asked Paige what she did on the bus, she said “I studied and then I slept.”
Paige went to hockey camps/conditioning and training all last summer. She hopes to play hockey in College in two years.
Good for her ! I played hockey on a team when I was a young teenager my team was called the Inglewood Wolverines ! I had to stop when I got in my twenties as I blew my right knee out . You go girl WOOHOO ! The pros even say that women playing hockey are tuff I believe that . The famous Wayne Gretzky once said he would fear a female hockey player on the ice more then a male lol ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteI hope she keeps all her teeth! I keep seeing pictures of Bobby Clarke with his gap smile.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true...glamour gal to hockey player. She has it all!
ReplyDeleteHaving a variety of assets is always good.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine such a busy schedule. So happy you were able to attend the game. Love the photos. (this is link to my new blog)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed, a star hockey player and she was beautiful in her formal for the dance, nice combination.
ReplyDeleteSure looks rough and dangerous to me.
ReplyDeleteThat seems like a busier schedule than a volley ball sport would be. From fancy dress up to hockey outfits. She can wear them all.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see girls playing hockey! Go Paige!
ReplyDeleteI so love that these girls are playing hockey and I am sure that Paige can do anything she sets her mind to!
ReplyDeleteWell done Paige!
ReplyDeleteI like women's hockey. I wish her well. It's fast and there's action with the puck.
ReplyDeleteThat is great! You certainly have the weather for it.
ReplyDeleteYou and Far Guy are good grandparents! And the title of your post says a lot about Paige. She has a lot going for her!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun evening for all involved. I like a girl that has plans for her life! You go girl!
ReplyDeleteStrong, pretty, ambitious, and lots of other wonderful qualities. Good job, Paige.
ReplyDeleteOh I haven't been to a hockey game in 50 years! None of my grands are into it
ReplyDelete(except as a spectator sport ( TV).
You GD is very motivated.
Quite the contrast from the previous post! I love it!
ReplyDeleteHope she gets a great scholarship out of it :)
ReplyDeleteA multi talented girl!! I too hope there is an amazing scholarship out there for her:)
ReplyDeleteWow! She's a real all-around beautiful person, and talented too. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood for her!
