Great shots - especially the hummingbird; wow! I have enough problems getting clear shots of the family, let alone creatures like that. Very impressed.
Incredible shot of the hummer. We enjoyed hummingbirds so much at Nalley Valley. Rarely do we see them here. That's a lovely color of peony. Wishing you both a nice weekend. Hugs to Chance.
I've never seen a "golden crab spider" before...fascinating and good looking for a spider! I love peonies but mine hasn't bloomed in several years here. Yours is so pretty...love that color! Down here they call them pe-onys...like ponies but with a long "e" and emphasis on the "e"...pee-onys...I had no idea what they were talking about! LOL!

ReplyDeleteNice photos! I'm really into spiders this year. Yellow Corn Spider is still alive and well and eating her but burritos just off the deck!
ReplyDeleteThose are some excellent photos! How did you ever see the Golden Crab Spider? Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know hummers ever stopped to rest. Great shot, and congratulations on the peony flower. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a birdie photo taking pro!
ReplyDeleteWhat camera and lens are you using?
My Canon Rebel 4 and a zoom lens:)
Deletenice photos - I catch hummingbirds rest every once in awhile. I really like your dandelion fuzz picture in your heading! Have a great Friday!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Hummers amaze me with all of their energy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, but I'll pass on admiring the spider for too long: I'm not a fan of arachnids.
ReplyDeleteIs that what those creepy spidies are called? I've always wondered...and stayed away from them, lol.
ReplyDeleteJen
beautiful shots!

Nice shot of the hummer! They sure don't sit still for long. The peony is such a pretty pink!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute crab spider, I have never seen one like it, it
ReplyDeletewas pink and white?
Yes it was, it seems he can turn a golden yellow color slowly to get lost in the Goldenrods:)
DeleteHummingbirds love Minnesota. I had forgotten how late the peony blooms in comparison to the ones south of you. It is a great looking red peony.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos. Haven't noticed that type of spider...must look a little harder when I'm in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely sights to see indeed!
ReplyDeleteLovely captures ! Thanks for sharing , have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteGood catch with your hummingbird.

What a vibrant color on that coveted bloom! Wonder what makes your peonies so temperamental...glad it decided to show its face this year!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, but the spider gives me the willies! ;)
