Far Side is way too busy preparing to cook or cooking to blog. She is organized and she has the checklist on the fridge. One by one she is checking stuff off the list. Yesterday was the last minute grocery shopping, I stood guard in the vehicle good thing too as there was a Great Dane in the vehicle next to us.
When we got home I had to have my photo taken. I wasn’t real excited, I knew there was chocolate inside those eggs and there was no way I was going to be allowed to eat the yummy stuff inside. It is kind of stupid to use a box instead of a basket anyways, but she says it doesn’t matter they are eggs for a hunt.
I wore the kerchief that my sister made for me.
The sun was blinding me.
What is Far Guy doing way over there? I am supposed to keep one eyeball on him at all times.
Okie dokie here is one eyeball for you too…hurry up!
Are you done yet? ( If I can’t see you then you can’t see me either!)
Finally she is done with that camera. No eggs were harmed or even opened.
You look festive and ready for fun tomorrow! Or today or whenever people will come to get the eggs. Your spring colors brighten up your environment. There was an egg hunt Wednesday night at one of the local churches. They hid the eggs in the late afternoon but did not realize the sun hit that area on its way out of town for the day. Yup - - it melted a LOT of the softer chocolate - - what a mess some of those kids were - - but they all had fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely one handsome fellow, Chance. I really like that last picture. You are such a good dog, and so talented, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I just love the stories from Chance!
ReplyDeleteHi Chance:
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you did not touch those chocolate covered eggs because as you know, chocolate is not good for dogs and they mustn't have it. It is always great to hear from you to get the canine point of view on things.

Cute pics! My dog does the same things when I try to pose him for photos. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteChance, even rock stars get weary of having their photo taken. ;o)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the egg hunt and the little ones who take part in it.
I'm sorry I had to laugh...it truly looked like he didn't want to have his photo taken! Chance is a handsome fellow!

ReplyDeleteWell, Chance, thank your lucky stars they didn't put bunny ears on you for the Easter photo like on saw on one dog in the Internet. He didn't look any more excited about having his picture taken than you! Happy Easter to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteGood job Chance or hanging in there. The egg colors are wonderful and I hope you stay away from the chocolate. I bet you are going to be busy tomorrow being the good will ambassador to all family who arrives. Happy Easter to you and the rest of your family too.

ReplyDeleteOh, Chance, my dogs would probably think and act the same way. Well, except Gypsy. She wouldn't have stayed. She would have come to put her nose in the camera. Your last picture is lovely.
