I was two

A number of years ago I was two.  Well lets see… that was back in 1953.

Connie Two years old 1953 (2)

This photo was taken at the farm in front of the Honeysuckle Tree.

Yes I am older…it happens to the best of us.

I had two wishes this year..one was more Pentel 0.9 automatic pencils…I love them.( A package was delivered from Staples and I am pretty sure there were pencils inside!)  Am I the only person in the world that appreciates a good pencil, one that the lead is not constantly snapping off??  My second wish was to go on a bit of an adventure…more about that later…we are probably on that adventure right now GWATCDR (God Willing And The Crick Don’t Rise)!

Happy Birthday to me!

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And I know what you mean about pencils. I feel the same about ball point pens - a just plain Bic ball point pen is what I have to have to do the newspaper crossword puzzles. It is just right and nothing else will do for me! I am almost out of my present supply so hope to be able to find the same kind again,

  7. What a cutie you were and still are I'm sure. I know I am...I have no idea who that old woman is in my mirror. I too like a good Pentel...I used to use 0.2 if I remember. Now, I just grab what's available. Good for you going on an adventure. It's what keeps the blood pumping! I can't wait to hear all about it and please email me your address when you have time someday. Happy Birthday, Connie and I hope it is a wonderful one!

  8. I'll bet you get your wish, and I look forward to hearing about the other one. You were definitely a cute two-year-old and I'll bet you still look pretty good for an old broad. :-)

  10. Oh my it is your birthday. Happy Birthday to you. I will have to check out that kind of pencil. I think I have one that I draw with but never though of using it for an everyday pencil. Enjoy the adventure and around here the crick is always high and getting higher. We still are going out today anyway.
