We saw the twin fawns and their Mom last night.
The fawns still have their spots.
We have not seen this bunch in a little while, most of the deer have moved to the bean fields. This group was in the neighbor’s hay field eating clover.
Chance barked at them, in fact when he barked another deer came out of nowhere and ran through the field… Chance was quite impressed with himself.
The sunset was beautiful.
Way to go Chance! I have had 4 deer to run in front of my car in the last week.

ReplyDeleteThe sunset looks like a painting. I've not seen our twin fawns around here lately but I suspect they don't still have their spots. :-)

Francine, my dogs would be going crazy barking at them, and I wouldn't get a picture. Chance showed them whose boss!
ReplyDeleteThose fawns are getting big. Haven't really seen any deer around this year, but I know they are here. I see the odd thing nibbled, mostly out in the bush, and know that only a deer would have done that.

ReplyDeleteWe have lots of deer here too and Nitty goes out every evening and sends them a warning. They stare at each other across the road. I've trained her not to chase them and the deer know it so they stare back but they don't come in our yard until we're asleep that is. You can't beat those little ones for cuteness though.
