Chance is happier.  I am feeling a bit better and took the undertaker off of speed dial.  Far Guy got a new antibiotic today.

  1. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Keep on doing whatever you've been doing. Seems to be helping.

  2. You make me laugh! The undertaker on speed dial! Glad you're feeling better. The flowers blooming in your yard are beautiful, and are the kinds that I can't grow here. Chance is such a pretty dog.

  3. Happy to hear the undertaker was taken off speed dial. Sounds like the new antibiotics are working. Is Chance begging you to take him out and play ball now that you are feeling better?

  4. I'm sure Chance is greatly relieved (as are we). He must have been very busy watching over you two.

  5. Your sense of humor is recovering, too. Made me laugh right out loud. Hope FG's new antibiotic does the trick for him. :-)

  6. Too funny! I need to teach Nitty which button to press on the phone for 911! LOL! Glad Chance is happier...that's a good sign for all. My biggest concern is always who's going to take care of my girls. I hope the new meds work for both of you. You need to kick that bad boy to the curb! Thanks for the plant id too! It was growing wild.

  7. Discovered today that this "bug" has hit my area, too. Sure glad it didn't arrive at my house.

  9. You sound better because you are joking about taking the undertaker off speed dial. Do you see improvement in Far Guy? Glad his doctor is being diligent to keep working to make him well.

  11. I too am so glad that things are looking up for you both. Hope this trend continues. Read your blog every morning and glad you are able to do a little even though you don't feel that good. Please keep getting a lot of rest and sleep and eat good things. Potatoes have a lot of nutrition! The Irish in Ireland lived on them almost exclusively at one time. is my understanding

  12. Love your sense of humor. Glad your both feeling a little better. I'm sure chance will be pleased when you can go back to catering to his every whim! It is hard on spoiled border collies when their people are sick.
    Praying for you Henderson's

  14. I still have the undertaker on my cell phone from back when I lost my mom and my brother within three months. I see it on there every once in a while but I won't be needing a funeral home in Osceola, Iowa. I am glad you are feeling better. The new antibiotic is a good idea. I had never taken the one I was on and it did a great job even though I was seeing things. I can see Chance looks a whole lot less worried.
