Pretty Leaves

Some of the Maples have some really good color.

One by one the leaves give up  and change color. IMG_1030

I hope they hang on for a few more days.  I will get my last day of vacation this Saturday..so if the leaves last four more days I will get many more photos:)

    Beautiful color! Ours are changing too and I admire them around town. Got to get that camera out! :-)

    Our leaves really haven't started to change color. I think we're several weeks behind you. BTW, I'm reading a book where part of it is set in MN. The areas mentioned are Hibbings and Chisolm near iron ore mines. Fiction or fact? The book is The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani.

    Some have fully changed and some haven't . The weather here has been so up and down I think the trees are very confused ! Lovely photos ! I am going out this weekend to take fall scenery photos . Have a wonderful day !

    Super color! We never see that here.

    Love maple leaves!! They have the best shape and the best color...and even give syrup, right? Not that I know anything about tapping trees for syrup, but I know how to use it on pancakes and waffles and am very grateful for real maple syrup. ;)

    We are starting to get some nice colors but I don't think this year is going to be one of our best when it comes to the fall colors on the leaves! You leaves are getting pretty.

    I love the riot of fall color in your area. Our Aspens are pretty, but can't hold a candle to other hardwoods that show orange, red and purple! Love to see the changes.
