Guess What?

OK let's have a little fun today! Guess what kind of flower bud this is, if you have no idea..guess what color the flower will be? Tomorrow I will reveal the answer! It is a beautiful summer day here in Minnesota today, we are working on a few projects and the grand boys are coming to visit:)

  4. You have me stumped and I'm a fairly experienced gardener. Until this year I have never planted sunflowers, so I've not seen them readying to flower. The photo makes this look large so I guess sunflower and the clor is yellow. Otherwise, you've got me!

  5. I took a photo of one of these flowers in bloom, it was yellow, look something like Thistle. I called it a Pineapple plant because I have no clue what it is...I look forward to the answer.

  8. It doesn't look real. I reminds me of the different flowers that I see on a site called Botany Photo of the Day.

  9. Ummm it looks kinda like a yellow wooly tickseed thing I have growing here. I SO don't know it's real name but looking forward to finding out.

  10. It looks a thistle plant we have around here. Ours is a big pretty purple flower when it blooms. The cows and goats won't touch them. I don't blame them.

  13. No idea, but it reminds me of an artichoke, so I would guess it's in the thistle family :)
