I like all your farm animals. Some people tell me that maybe I didn't get my kitty tamed soon enough but I think she is just hanging out with her brothers and sister. Great moooving shots.L. Their animals get to go in and out of buildings regularly. They only use the farrowing crates when the sows have their babies. She said it is just the big farms that use the gestational crates.
She seems like a very nice person and I am going to read her blog tonight. I like the first couple of posts I have read.
So this is an apology to her. The farrowing crate is a great idea if not abused and they don't abuse theirs.Lyndahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404589772713955710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-57630405221790935912010-08-13T19:05:45.345-05:002010-08-13T19:05:45.345-05:00I should bring my girls to see all the animals and...I should bring my girls to see all the animals and baby animals!Staceynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-5401731621761049552010-08-13T12:21:34.951-05:002010-08-13T12:21:34.951-05:00That is the way I get up off the floor I just try ...That is the way I get up off the floor I just try not to get down there much any more.Come to think of it I think I have been called a heifer before.Patsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17862394699499538591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-4084203226147888722010-08-13T11:53:29.390-05:002010-08-13T11:53:29.390-05:00I just love babies...of all kinds. I did not know about the farrowing crates and gestational crates - - - - so I went on the internet. There are definite advantages but it makes me very, very sad to the point of tears to think that an animal is always confined to that small cage. It would be nice to know if some farmers let them out to exercise on a regular basis. I would like to see pigs have "runs" like dogs at a boarding kennel. It would be more expensive but if a crate is used exclusively, that is inhumane - - - - or maybe I haven't done enough research to know what I am talking about and those who use crates 24/7 are in the minority?Lyndahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404589772713955710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-89263549858681469882010-08-13T09:52:33.593-05:002010-08-13T09:52:33.593-05:00All baby animals are cute aren't they?
