I occasionally enjoy piecing quilting tops (by machine), but actual quilting is limited to following the pieced design.<br /><br />Be it sewing, knitting, crocheting, tatting or something unfamiliar, I sincerely appreciate the hand work of others. I made my wedding dress, a su...I used to sew lots. I made my wedding dress, a suit for Larry, shirts, etc. Then I discovered thrifting, haha, and I think sewing clothes went downhill quickly. I have never been interested in quilting really, that requires too much measuring for me. The sewing I do now is pretty basic, aprons, bags, fairly simply stuff. Some things take a simple pattern or the piece to be measured to get started, but after that I just eyeball and sew away, and It all works out fine ;-) I did very little sewing last year, almost none, but have a huge fabric stash, so really need to get back into it this year to use up my stock, since this will be my last year full time at the market. How nice of Henny to send you the gifts. Those handle covers for frying pans are so handy.
