I send money and my aunts will put flowers on their graves for me. As a genealogist, I understand the important information that is preserved at grave sites. But I don't want a place where family feels obligated to keep decorated. My sister and my aunt who recently died were the only ones in the family I know for sure who visited the graves. My mom and dad didn't anymore when they retired to Florida and were too far away but I remember going with them as a kid. When my mom comes up from Florida this summer my sister is bringing her up to the cemetery. I've always liked cemeteries.
