Our normal Thursday began early with a virtual visit with the Rheumatologist. Since my symptoms are getting worse (more joint pain) he is going to try a different new to me infusion. So I had to visit the lab and leave 17 vials of blood. I hope the insurance approves the infusion....and I pass all the lab tests.
Later in the morning I dropped Far Guy off at his weekly infusion. I went to Walmart for a grocery pickup and then inside to return an item. Then to L & M Supply, Hugo's, bank and gas station. We got a car wash after I picked up Far Guy. Then home to unload everything. Last week I was spoiled as I had all the groceries delivered to the door!
One load of laundry was done and I had a long nap!

Far Side
So sorry you are dealing with the RA issues even more. That is a wicked disease. It is amazing how much energy a person can save by NOT shopping inside WM for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! 17 vials??? Do you have any blood left?
ReplyDeleteAfter all that a nap was most needed!!!! WHEW
ReplyDeleteI think I would need a nap too. Fingers crossed on the new infusion.
ReplyDeleteI hope insurance will pay for your infusion.
ReplyDeleteThe road home. Sounds like the title of a book or maybe even a painting.
Wishing you good results form your new treatment.
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shining now but we had a very grey, rainy morning. We are not used to it. I guess we'd better, get used to it since deep fall is coming.
Virtual visit? I'm sure that will happen much more as time goes by.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the blood tests. Gosh that sounds like a lot of blood. You needed the nap to regenerate what you had taken.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you had a long nap after giving up all that blood!
ReplyDeleteI hope you finally get some pain relief.
Wow that was a very busy day! I hope the new treatment helps the RA.
