Tomato

The Yellow Pear Tomato sure took off when we had that warm weather.

It is half way up the garage.  Yes it is planted in a stock tank and surrounded by a dog kennel to keep the deer away.

There are flowers and even a few tiny tomatoes started.

I had a busy day on Tuesday...time to clean the bathroom really good...laundry and put some bread to bake along with a few other things that never show.

What's Cooking?  Lasagna that was in the freezer.   One of these days I will have to really cook.

Minnesota Weather:  Rainy  High  80F or 27C.  Low was 60F or 16C.

Far Guy had more of a rough day on Tuesday...forward progress is slow.

  1. Your tomato plant is growing almost exponentially better than Kudzu does in the south and that is saying something!
It sounds like you were having a good day since you got a lot accomplished. It is good when God gives us good days in between some of the other ones. It's encouraging.
Thankful your husband is making forward progress and praying it continues with a bit more speed. He has had some great medical care from the doctors and especially you as evidenced by his recoveries.

  2. I've always wanted to plant a tomato plant in a mesh grid of rebar that extended 20 feet in the air. I'm guessing a tomato plant might grow that tall with adequate support. I can only support them to about 5 or 6 feet tall in my garden which they quickly achieve and then spread out.

Our tomatoes are reaching for the sky too, since we have had some early abnormal hot days.

  14. LD...That fence works well for you. It does look very healthy. I don't have a yellow one this year. I did get a grape shaped one this year.
