Son in Law Andy was going to be in our area on Tuesday with his pickup. Our screen door had seen better days...so I picked out a new one...Andy picked it up and brought it over and installed it. What a deal...he also brought us a rack of ribs....which are delicious!
I need to get some paint to get rid of the green..our other storm/screen door was green. The color is Sandstone... hope I can find something that matches.
Thankful to have a son in law who is handy and a wonderful cook!

ReplyDeleteThe new screen door looks great! 👍 RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteWhat a great handyman. He picks up, delivers, and installs, plus brings dinner. But….i doubt he washed the dishes. lol
ReplyDeleteA screen door hung AND a rack of ribs! Does Andy hire out this far south?
ReplyDeleteYou can hope your daughters get wonderful husbands!!
DeleteIt's wonderful to have a handyman and a chef all rolled into one!!!
ReplyDeleteAndy is a wonderful person to have in the family. He loves you all bunches. It is truly a blessing when our kids (they became "our" when they married) help out with projects. When you said he brought ribs, I thought he bought them somewhere but he can cook anything wonderfully well from what you have told us about over the years. Very thankful for another meal you don' t have to cook.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great family!
ReplyDeleteThe door looks good. I'm thankful to have 2 sons-in-law who are handy - and willing to work on our Honey Do projects for us. One was an electrician (before a career change), so he has replaced a few light fixtures for us. The other has lots of tools and skills that have also come in handy.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you are blessed indeed...with Andy and the ribs.
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed to family who care so much about each other.
ReplyDeleteThe screen doo looks good.
What a wonderful son-in-law you have. He did a wonderful job and the door looks great!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely have a great son-in-law. The door looks great and I'm sure the ribs were delicious.
ReplyDeleteMy son is handy but he is also too much in demand. We always have a list for him.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful family!!! The door looks very nice!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it's nice to get that job done.
ReplyDeleteA new door and ribs! What a guy!!!!
ReplyDeleteOur lives would be so much more difficult without the help of our grown children and/or their partners. In your case he even cooks!!
ReplyDeleteLD....It looks good. I hope all the sizes were all the same. The last one I installed at the old place was difficult.
ReplyDeleteHandy indeed! Does the screen drop from the top? We have that feature on ours, it helps to keep cats and dogs from tearing the screen. ~ Shirley
ReplyDeleteYes the screen drops from the top!
DeleteSo handy having younger folk to help!
