Screen Door

Son in Law Andy was going to be in our area on Tuesday with his pickup.   Our screen door had seen better days...so I picked out a new one...Andy picked it up and brought it over and installed it.  What a deal...he also brought us a rack of ribs....which are delicious!

I need to get some paint to get rid of the green..our other storm/screen door was green. The color is Sandstone... hope I can find something that matches.

Thankful to have a son in law who is handy and a wonderful cook!

  6. Andy is a wonderful person to have in the family. He loves you all bunches. It is truly a blessing when our kids (they became "our" when they married) help out with projects. When you said he brought ribs, I thought he bought them somewhere but he can cook anything wonderfully well from what you have told us about over the years. Very thankful for another meal you don' t have to cook.

  8. The door looks good. I'm thankful to have 2 sons-in-law who are handy - and willing to work on our Honey Do projects for us. One was an electrician (before a career change), so he has replaced a few light fixtures for us. The other has lots of tools and skills that have also come in handy.

  18. LD....It looks good. I hope all the sizes were all the same. The last one I installed at the old place was difficult.

  19. Handy indeed! Does the screen drop from the top? We have that feature on ours, it helps to keep cats and dogs from tearing the screen. ~ Shirley
