White Petunias

Jen and Andy picked white petunias for their cattle  tank.  I heard that Andy picked the number of plants bought...seems like plenty and they should overflow the tank:)

If I would have felt better I would have pulled the spent blooms.

Back at home...Far Guy did something with Tilly...while I did laundry, made ice and supper. Oh yes in the morning Far Guy spent about 90 minutes on the phone with a specialty pharmacy that supplies one of his breathing meds...then his Insurance Company...then the specialty pharmacy again...who made an error.  Finally everything might be straightened out...but you never know.

What's cooking?  Pork chops and rice.

Minnesota weather:  High 77F or 25C      Low was 57F or 14C

Rain report: We got 1 1/2 inches while we were away and another 1/2 inch early Wednesday morning.

The rain helps to settle all the pollen!

  2. Hope you are feeling better. It is so hard to walk by petunias and not pinch them. And I do hope the insurance is straighten out. We switched prescription plans this year and it has been a journey.

  4. I hope he is able to get the medicine he needs and it’s covered. The flowers are pretty in the tank.

  5. When I hear about all of these insurance woes, I am one again thankful for our HMO. First, Group Health, then becoming Kaiser Permanente, we have had excellent care and coverage for about 55 years.

  6. I'm sure the issue with Far Guy's meds could be quite dangerous as well, but definitely a frustration. Hopefully they have it straightened out properly.
The white petunias are striking! I'm sure they show up at night too.

  7. Petunias are a good choice! I planted a couple white ones as well, in a mixed pot. White brightens things up and is more visible in the moon light.

Good look with the phone thing. Takes forever to sort issues out these days.

  8. Beautiful petunia's. I always wanted a tank like that to plant in when we had our house. I sure hope Far Guy got his meds taken care of. I know how frustrating that is. I just spent over an hour on hold just to confirm an appt. for Dennis. So frustrating.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  11. The petunias are going to be so pretty as they grow...and they look very healthy. Those phone calls can be very time consuming.

  12. Hopefully that medication situation is all solved. How frustrating! I had to chuckle and just shake my head over the battle of "does/does not". Can't reason with 3 year olds can we?
