My Petunias are missing...here one day gone the next.
We had a quiet Sunday...we stopped by to see she who sees robins first...she is recovering from her knee replacement. Aubrey is doing well also...she is still on a liquid diet...her Doctor says she is doing great!
What's cooking? Nothing as we usually go to our favorite outdoor patio place for Sunday lupper!

Back when Larry was alive and we had gardens, the deer were a constant problem. They love peas and the vines. Sweet potato vines were a treat for them. An electric fence was about all that helped much. They don’t like corn. Weird.
ReplyDeleteHooray for going out to eat. Thankful for the good recovery of those you visited. Wow for Aubrey and what she is dealing with. The good news is there are all kinds of things that can be included on a liquid diet now - - - like protein powders - - and whatever a person wants to toss in a blender. Knew replacement - - a great thing - - - once you make it past the first painful couple of weeks. Praying she is a good worker doing PT - - helps speed recovery as we know. Sounds like about the only way you will have pretty posies is suspend them from a flagpole. Even the wire caged enclosure our neighbor has would not be strong enough - - if that is a real bear - - - or is it just a yard decoration? The good news is you made some critter happy with dessert.

DeleteSorry about your flowers but that culprit is beautiful too. Maybe you should stick some fake flowers in the dirt to enjoy. She won't eat those.

ReplyDeleteI see the culprit that had a lovely dinner on your petunias. The deer around here eat all kinds of flowers and they especially love the apply and pear trees. Glad everyone is doing well and recovering. Right now I am eating a bland diet....the stomach bug has not been nice to me. Oh how I wish we had some 70 degree weather....way to hot and humid here.
