Oh little fawns!

We have a Mama deer that has twins.

They are great entertainment!  Sometimes they wander in the yard alone and other times their Mama is with them.

They are curious about our bird baths.

We also have a fat old Raccoon that has been visiting the yard.   Thankfully no skunks yet..or bear:)

  1. The fawns are so very beautiful! We have had some skunks a couple of nights. Even inside the house, you can smell them. So nauseating.

  3. Oh my! They are just so cute. I would have a hard time not wanting to pet them, which, of course would scare them to death. Sweet babies. And let the bear stay far away in the woods.
    Blessing and love,

  4. Deer are so sweet. I don't mind them. Thankfully we get bear here very rarely.

  5. We also have two babies in the neighborhood. They are adorable, but we worry about their safety, because of traffic.

  6. I so enjoy seeing the little fawns with their spots still showing. They are so cute... speaking of raccoons...my oldest daughter has had two rabid raccoons in the past 3 weeks come up in her yard. They had to shoot them and call them county office.

  7. I saw deer today too. I tried to sneak a picture but they scurried. I had twins to watch in the past. It’s exciting to see double. I have watched them play in the Meadow chasing and jumping high in the air. Momma left them hidden but exploring was to tempting.

I hope they come back to visit again.

  8. Love watching young deer... one visit to my Mother's in Nova Scotia I was lucky enough to watch two yearling bucks play fight just outside her dining room window!!

  10. LD...You live in the forest and all the little animals are alive. Yea, that there isn't any raccoon.

  11. Those little fawns are just adorable! What a sweet sight to enjoy right in your yard. The raccoon made me smile too — hoping the skunks and bears stay far, far away. Always love your wildlife updates.

  12. Those fawns are so beautiful. We haven't seen any fawns or baby turkeys in our yard yet this year. But I'm sure we will see some soon. We have had a couple of sightings of a very fat raccoon again.
