Almost three year olds can be a challenge.
I had a conversation with Peach. Her favorite person in the whole world is Jen...the rest of us are chopped liver. ( Jen took daytime care of her from the time she was born until she was about three months old and daycare had an opening for her)
However she likes a song I play for her "Corrina, Corrina" by Ray Peterson and oldie but a goodie. We all call her Peach but her given name is Karina. She always wants to hold my phone and usually walks around with the phone on her head...no idea why? Usually she messes up the song and boy can those little fingers swipe right and left and up and down just like that.
Anyways we were putting together large wooden puzzles pieces of a elephant, a moose and a bird. The does so...does not began...she was putting her hand on her hip and making faces...apparently I said does so a little loud.
Peach said "You screamed at me!"
What a turd.
Far Side

Such a fun age & full of all kinds of vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteI look back fondly at the toddler years. But, I'm sure I have buried all of those frustrations that go with them....although one I do recall is the constant chatter! I remember wondering why I ever promoted language development! Lucky you to be able to enjoy Peach (such a cute name) and be able to 'give her back'!
ReplyDeleteShe's an adorable little turd!
ReplyDeleteBut these characters are great fun and you wouldn't miss them.
ReplyDeleteShe’s a fun girl I bet. It amazes me how each of the children of a family are so different. That’s makes each special for who they are!
ReplyDeletePeach is a ton of fun!!
ReplyDeleteI like strong willed young girls. No one is going push her around! :) It does make it difficult to deal with them sometimes though.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she a sweetie And a handful?
ReplyDeleteWell, she's assertive, and we need women like that. Assertive three year olds can be a challenge though.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a three-year-old
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie. Three year olds have a mind of their own and that's good. I really enjoyed hearing all about Peach/Karina.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
