We were traveling on May Day...we managed to get a few May Baskets to the neighbors and to a little guy for his first May Day. More baskets will be delivered on May 2nd....not quite as special but better than a kick in the butt.
We did May Day one day early with our "Greats"
Baby K finally has some teeth and instead of Candy she got soft baby treats.
Hope you all had a wonderful May Day!
Far Side
I love Baby K's name, we have our own Baby K, who is now 12 and does not like it when I call her that.
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that your family has kept that tradition for such a long, long time. I would venture to say that the majority of young people - - at least in our area - - have never heard of it. Guess that would be the fault of my generation.
ReplyDeleteLucky kiddo's!! I would take a May Day basket early/late over a kick in the butt, any day of the week!
ReplyDeleteHappy May! The kids weren't entirely cooperating with photos. (:
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those little ones.
ReplyDeleteCute baskets! The simplest things can bring such joy! Wish we all still did this! I bet alot of older people in rest homes would remember those fun times!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful memories you create ❣️👍🏻
ReplyDeleteLoads of cuteness in these pictures....Not only from the littles, but the baskets too. Safe travels... Happy May Day.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the recipients were very happy to get their May treats!!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you and your May Day baskets yesterday. That is such a fun tradition.
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to seeing your May Baskets. Those are the cutest recepients!
ReplyDeleteI love that tradition and you keep it. Your greats look very happy to receive theirs and the hedgehogs are so cute.
