It rained a bit, not sure how much but there was a puddle or two. We could still use more!
The woods are finally coming alive...it is a wonder what a little rain will do.
We are headed into a warm spell...I don't like being thrust into Summer so soon in May. I like lots of 70 degree days! Picky picky.
I did some laundry and cleaned a bathroom, we visited two cemeteries and Far Guy planted some wildflowers seeds in the wildgardens.
What's cooking? Far Guy made Spaghetti...it was delicious with homemade bread.
Minnesota Weather on Saturday: High 61F or 16C Low was 44F or 7C.
Far Side
80’s aren’t that bad. soon you’ll be mowing like me!
ReplyDeleteThe trees are fully changing colors now and it looks so pretty in your area..love that road with the trees along the sides. Spaghetti sounds wonderful to me right now. Sam can not eat it and therefore, I haven't had it in months. I need to live closer to you so I can enjoy your always delicious meals.. LOL
ReplyDeleteYay for rain! I sprinkled seeds in my bfly garden yesterday, but we are so dry. It seems we are always in a state of feast or famine weather patterns.
ReplyDeleteGotta love a guy who cooks. I am lucky to be married to one too.
We also had rain - over 2"! And...summer temperatures - ick. I love how the plants respond to rain, getting their dust and pollen cleaned off and a new burst of energy!
ReplyDeleteIr's 85F here right now. I'm looking forward to the Black Hills this week when it should be cooler. We have lots of plans there for our time with Piper.
ReplyDeleteDennis took a load of food to the camper today and we'll be heading out tomorrow morning.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Been raining here since Thursday
ReplyDeleteIf it could just stay 70, I would be happy!
ReplyDeleteI would like to get enough rain to make puddles. It's very dry here.
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining here for over a week and in the 50's! It is usually hot and humid by now but we did need the rain! Sounds like alot of farmers are having lots of problems already this season. We had a very late frost and most of the fruit trees and other stuff in the Shanendoah Valley froze!
ReplyDeleteNot good for business or the consumer.
Oh good, you got rain. Hopefully you'll soon get more. It really is amazing how quickly things green up after even a light rain.
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti sounds like a good idea.
We had a solid day of rain on Saturday. It ruined my garden plans for the day, but the plants certainly enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteLD....I love pasta but it is hard on blood numbers. I can just take some extra insulin. I do like summer with rain.
