Happy Mother's Day!

 

Hope all the Mom's out there have a wonderful day! My Mom loved flowers and these were right outside her front door for many Summers.  She would drag those pots in and out until the weather got warm enough.

My Grandmother is holding Vivian or as we called her Aunt Skip and My Grandpa.  My Mom would have been almost five years old in the photo.

Lots of Moms are not with us for Mother's Day...or sisters, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

I am thankful for those still with us!

    These photos are so precious. I especially love the old family picture from 1934... it feels like holding a little piece of history in your hands.
    Mother’s Day can feel bittersweet when so many dear people are no longer here, but what a gift to still have these memories and photographs. Thank you for sharing them.

    Happy Mother's Day. We do miss all the Moms who are no longer with us, it was always the best part of Mother's Day for me, not being Celebrated myself, as a Mom/Gramma, but Celebrating her was always meaningful to me. So nice you have those lovely Generational Photos of Family.
