We are back from Dr appointments. Two appointments turned into three more appointments for me.
I had an MRI and they may have found the root cause to my back pain and leg numbness...they are not sure so I will see another Dr before another procedure is performed. In the meantime the MRI showed something else that calls for yet another MRI.
The little pills that I had to take prior to the MRI worked really well...so well that I tripped over my own feet, fell and hit my head and nose...not sure what will turn black or blue yet. The poor nurse had to fill out a report.
I slept most of the way home and am headed to bed soon:)
A picture of our Border Collie Chance in a little plane that was in our yard in 2005.
What's Cooking Far Guy made me a ham sandwich and he had lasagna from the freezer.
Minnesota weather: High 54F or 12C Low was 38F or 3C Not much rain fell here.

Oh my goodness, I hope you are okay and do not bruise too badly. Love the dog photo. Your weather sounds very nice.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your health. I know how difficult appointments can be.
ReplyDeleteoh no....as if trying to stay healthy wasn't difficult enough...
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope you don't end up too black and blue! When I had wisdom tooth surgery last December, they usher you out the door before you are fully conscious! I barely remember the ride home!
ReplyDeleteUgh! More appointments! Hopefully whatever they are finding will NOT slow you down.
ReplyDeleteOoof! Sorry to hear about your fall. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteSo many MRI's. So sorry to read that you fell. Hopefully some good comes out of this painful experience. Take good care. Nurse Far Guy to the rescue!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about your fall. Sometimes it is just one thing after another.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Connie. I hope they do find out the cause of your back pain. But falling on your face is horrid.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope that the MRI (and repeat MRI's) provide some answers and soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your fall, I do hope that you don't end up with a black eye or two.
Bruising will eventually go away. Brain damage will not. Take it easy and monitor yourself.
ReplyDeleteVery happy for an easy meal but super sad about your fall. Bummer on extra doctors' appts but if they have found the cause of the problem - - or can find it - - that will be a win - - especially if it is an easy fix.
ReplyDeleteIf the MRI has found the reason for your pain then I suppose the fall is a small price to pay. Nevertheless I hope you're okay and not too bruised.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, two steps forward and wham— three steps back. Praying all this helps you feel better.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, so sorry you fell. Sure hope you are doing better soon. It is sooooo dry here...we are in a critical fire danger warning. we were supposed to have storms last night but only got 1/8th of an inch. Please pray for rain for all of us. Take good care you two.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Chance. He was such a great dog. I'm glad they found something that can possibly be fixed but oh my goodness. You fell and got hurt. I guess I'm lucky that I'm not claustrophobic and can just get into that machine with no issues. I'll be praying for you to not have many bruises and they get to reason for your back issues soon.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
That does make them nervous when they have the patient fall over from their drugs. I hope you are feeling better. Loved Chance a lot!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you feel. It is just a jolt to the system and then the aching afterwards. Hope these appointments lead to improvements.
ReplyDeleteThat's all you needed is to fall! It doesn't seem to take much at our age! I've had to take up all of my scatter rugs because I trip now. Hopefully you won't hurt too much and no bruising. We've had a ton of appointments for months now because of discovering several health problems! It's never a fun thing is it?
ReplyDeleteYou have some good news and bad news. I hope they find some solutions for you.
ReplyDeleteOh no, a fall on top of everything else? I'm so sorry. I do hope that they get you some answers soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope all those appointments have the result of figuring out a better way of treatment for you.
ReplyDeleteBe careful, go slow...
