Sunday

Quiet day, we worked outside a bit...raked some and worked on another project on the patio.  My other baby brother and she who see robins first stopped by to visit.  Happy Birthday today to she who sees robins first!

Late in the afternoon I sold some "stuff" and we had to go to Osage to meet up with the gal.  The "stuff" was weaving bobbins that came with my spinning wheel a long time ago and have nothing to do with spinning or so I was told by an expert!

I took a photo on the way back.

We had some sunshine in the morning.

We dropped off some books and bookmarks for the Little Library...it still had some books that I dropped off last Fall.  Maybe the Summer readers are not here yet!

Minnesota weather:  High 57F or 14C  Low was 42F or 6C.  It is supposed to rain all day on Monday...we will see if that happens.

What's cooking?  Leftovers warmed in the microwave:)

  4. After all the enforced indoor time due to spring storms I am so ready to have some active days!
Looks like your spring is on its way there and happy birthday to your sister in law.

  5. Sounds like a great day. We went to Sunday school but had to leave before church as my back was spasming. I knew I couldn't sit in the pew for 1 1/2 hours so we came home and watched in online. :-)
It rained a lot yesterday and we're supposed to get more today but none yet.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  6. You had another - - make your own schedule and do what you want day with no cooking! Sounds perfect.

  7. Hope those grey clouds produced a little rain for you. We got over 2" in the last 48 hours, and can practically hear the grass and trees slurping it up. It was a perfect slow steady rain too, so it soaked in. So badly needed after a second dry winter.

  8. We did a lot of work in the yard this weekend and we have the tired and sore body parts to prove it. It's cloudy and cool today. Good. The tulips will last longer.

  9. Leftovers are great. No need to fuss, just warm them up. Which is exactly what I'm going to do with last Friday's leftover soup. I did make pudding for dessert ( almost an apology for serving food made days ago).

  10. That’s a long, flat road. Well, it didn’t warm up much. Hope you have more sunshine this week.
