Puzzling

It was time to put the puzzles away.  These are the last two that I finished.

Both were fun puzzles.

  1. You must have the patience of a monk...I just can't "settle" long enough to do a large puzzle like this. They are really pretty!

  2. Puzzles are one of my "winter" projects too, although I haven't worked on any since early March.

  3. Is it easier to have puzzles with a dog in the house rather than a cat who thinks any surface or loose object is hers to do with as she wishes? Our 'Pretty Girl' is super loving but her flip personality is that of a rebellious teenager with the attitude - - - "You can't tell me what I can and cannot do." Thus we have our jigsaws on our iPads. Puzzles are relaxing cuz your mind has to concentrate. As a result, worry or the 'to do' list can temporarily leave a person's mind!

  5. Wow! I don't know if I've ever even completed one 1000 piece puzzle. Of course, that requires actually working on puzzles. Such a great hobby.

  6. I often work jigsaw puzzles. Right now I am doing an easy one...only 500 big pieces. The one I finished a couple days ago was one I bought when I visited my son and his wife in London UK. It was only 500 pieces too but I have worked 1000 piece puzzles that were easier.

  9. I enjoy having a puzzle out. I like stopping by and finding spots for one, two or three pieces while passing through. But, I don't really have the space now.

  10. Both those puzzles look so hard. I think they’re 1000 piece ones too. Endurance and patience were your helpers.

    1. What beautiful puzzles, I love them too, but taking them apart again, I find that less fun, that's a bit hard to swallow.

  11. Bruce is having radiation treatments now. Today was treatment 21 out of 35. The radiation place has a jigsaw puzzle out that people work on while they're waiting. I've never been a jigsaw puzzle person, but I added a couple pieces today.

  12. They look much more difficult than I would like. They would each take me a year to finish! Are you almost packed up? Safe travels home, Sadie will miss you.
    Blessings and hugs,
