It was a frosty, gloomy day.
Far Guy had a check up with his eye doctor and everything looks great after his cataract surgery. Next week he has the other eye done.
Minnesota weather: High 22F or -6C low was 18F or -8C eh! We are supposed to be in the 40's F by the weekend.
Andy made supper...ribs, potato crowns and corn.
Wednesday is our day off this week with no medical appointments. 2 appointments out of 19 completed this month.
Far Side
My husband had cataract surgery on both eyes a couple of years ago and was pleased with both the process and result. Hoping Far Guy has a similar experience.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice when you look at your calendar and see nothing due! lol

17 appointments in a month!! I don't think Tom and I ever had that many appointments in a month and there were times when I thought appointments were our social life.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day off with no appointments!! We had dense fog this morning but it isn't cold enough to make the tree frosty. Very spring-like temps here.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit of the nuisance with all the drops but well worth it.
ReplyDeleteEven on a dark gloomy day, you got a beautiful picture of the ice on the bare tree branches. You have some very talented cooks in your home!!!
ReplyDeletePraising God for the good check-up for post-surgery cataract visit! The results infuse some definite happiness and encouragement in our days because the world is so bright again!
Andy sounds like an amazing chef!
ReplyDeleteYour weather looks frightful. It’s spring like in Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteI know FG will be seeing everything so much better soon.
It's so nice of y'all to keep the medical community in your area in business.😉 Reading this makes me feel very fortunate to only have one or two appointments per month.
ReplyDeleteWe have cold and flurries here for the next while.... enough already! Spring, please.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day off, it is well deserved. Good to hear that Far Guy's eye is doing well.
ReplyDeleteMan, my doctor is making me wait four days between. I am so glad he is doing well! Thursday is our zero appointment day. And the charity called and asked me to fill in. No rest for the wicked . . .
ReplyDeleteGlad you have a day off. It's foggy and dreary here today. Tomorrow we plan to pack a bunch of things into the camper for our departure next week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Yum to that meal...I need an Andy to come cook for me. Glad everything looks good with the cataract surgery...
ReplyDeleteI hope your day off was all you wanted it to be.
ReplyDeleteBusy times! I had both done at the same time. It was quite the deal.
ReplyDeleteGood words to see, "everything looks great". You both need good news.
ReplyDeleteRain here has dampened outdoor plans.
So glad far guys eye is good! Love ribs....lucky you. We had 52 degrees today......love the warm weather....things are melting. Take good care.
ReplyDeleteHere it is hot and humid, causing me to be often drenched in sweat
ReplyDeleteLD....I need to have my eyes fixed but I have other things going on right now. It gets to be too much with the old age thing.
