Far Guy had his last eye surgery yesterday. The left eye this time. It all went well.
The total number of drops in EACH eye is 159 over four weeks. Good thing we have a chart to fill out with the times.
8 out of 19 appointments completed.
Some of the snow has melted in the front yard. Dirty snow remains.
Minnesota weather: High was 32F or 0C Low was 13 or -11C. Mostly cloudy.
As I write this on Tuesday late afternoon...Andy is cooking up a storm in the kitchen...it is Cee Cees 6th birthday and she requested a surprise supper...but she said "It better be good!"

Happy Birthday to CeeCee! Hope she liked the surprise supper. Glad Far Guy’s second cataract surgery is over and praying he can see a lot better. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the second eye surgery went well too. We got a dusting of snow overnight.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that they give you a chart for the eye drops. We had to make our own.
ReplyDeleteLittle CeeCee is six already?! Happy Birthday to her.
ReplyDeleteI want that eye fix but I dread the drops. Sister Helen said it was very confusing.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the television program, "Kids say the darndest things?" CeeCee would have been a great guest.
ReplyDeleteGlad the surgery is complete. Another positive note, you're nearly halfway through the appointments. Good luck!
Good thing his eyes are done and healing!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to CeeCee! :)
ReplyDeleteBetter be good, huh? I hope someday her parents call and say they're coming for supper and "it better be good" lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Cece!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until the second eye surgery. Glad things went well for the Far Guy, too. My husband feels like he is spending the rest of his life doing my eye drops, lol. He has been doing a great job as my home healthcare aide.
YAY for FarGuy! Yay for the snow melt! Happy Birthday CeeCee
ReplyDeleteI will probably be having eye surgery in the next year or so and I know about the eye drop routine from my husband's two surgeries. No fun with everything else on your schedule and glad it went well for Far Guy,
