Baby K was baptized last Sunday. We did not attend because of Influenza A that is going around.
Maddie shared photographs.

Galatians 3:26-27
"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized in Christ have clothed yourself with Christ'
We are have nasty winds and blowing snow...and way below zero windchills. We are in a Winter Storm warning and a Blizzard watch until late on Sunday. High was 4F or -16C Low was -1F or -18C eh.
Supper was leftovers for me...coleslaw, sweet potatoes and some lil smokies. Far Guy had a Philly Sandwich that Jen brought home from the Blue Moose where she ate lunch. No cooking!!

Colder here too. This morning it’s 21 degrees F.
ReplyDeleteThe dress of K’s is really special. I zoomed in to see.
Wise plan to stay home.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the pictures. Love the baptismal gown and its history. Flu is going around in Ohio. Also some Covid. We are supposed to have 1 degree temperatures at night for the next 3 days.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a precious Blessing...thank you for sharing the photos of this special Baptism. Wow, you all are really getting hammered. I can't imagine it being that cold and having the strong winds at that. Good sleeping weather...Stay in your warm house...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been hearing about your weather. I'm sure the Buffalo Bills we glad to play in San Francisco yesterday, even if they did lose in overtime. We are football crazy here in Seattle right now.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your sweet family for another precious milestone.
The christening gown is amazing....and even more so, that it was made from your wedding dress. I love that idea, and wish I had thought to do that. I've already decided that we are having breakfast for supper tonight! I am not in much of a cooking mood!
ReplyDeleteSuch a treasure to have that precious baptismal gown, made from your wedding dress, and worn by these babies. Awesome idea. One of my girls wore my baptismal gown, but the other one wasn't able to because she was so much bigger. LOL And neither one was interested in having their own babies wear it. So it's in a box in my cedar chest.
ReplyDeleteBlessings abound ❣️
ReplyDeleteVery smart to stay home! We suffered A all the month of December and I , who never go to the doctor if I can help it, almost went to the ER two different nights. I hear our hospital is full.
ReplyDeleteSweet baby! The baptismal gown is lovely and what a treasure for the family.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures of the little one's baptism. And such a special dress for all the little people to wear. God Bless Baby K and all of the family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family and baptismal gown. Baby K seems to be calm about it all. Not all babies are that way. It makes parents anxious sometimes. What denomination? Just curious. Growing up we went to the Dutch Reformed and then the Lutheran. I loved it a lot. Christ became my Savior and Lord while attending the Assemblies of God. We landed in a Baptist Church with friends after a move for my husband's work and that is the denomination where we still worship.
ReplyDeleteLynda, She was baptized in the Catholic Church where her Mom attended Parochial School.
DeleteMany blessings to Baby K! Beautiful baptismal gown!
ReplyDeleteLD...We did left overs the night before and it sent my blood numbers sky high. I am missing one of my meds so I have to keep shooting extra insulin until the numbers go down. Insurace is the pits .
