Christmas 1995. How time flies by. Photo taken at my parents home on the lake. I did the lettering on that Christmas Sleigh for my parents.
"Hyvää joulua!" (pronounced hoo-vaa yoo-loo-ah) is Finnish for Merry ChristmasIt's a common festive greeting used to wish people a joyful holiday season in Finland.
How we have changed over 25 years. I have Swedish, Norwegian and Islanders in my dna. Only 2% of each, but so far no Finnish. Ethnicity changes because regions are constantly updated as they collect more dna around the world.
I love seeing how you and FG looked then. Finnish to me is a hard language. Even your maiden name I can’t pronounce! I’m pretty slow. lol
Love the photo. I like learning about your Finnish background. I don't think there are many Finnish in Ohio. I know we have Polish, Hungarian, French, lots of Germans, English.
