A blast from the past...45 years ago.

Supper was chicken wild rice soup, salad and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Minnesota weather; High 14F or -10C Low was 2F or -17C.
Only two medical appointments this week!
Far Side

Hi Connie. I think of you often, especially at this time of year when I put out my Christmas decorations, the little ornaments and woodcarvings you made which I treasure. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful, healthy New Year ahead.

I love it. That shag carpet, the plaid couch, the console TV!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that fun!
ReplyDeleteWanted to say how much I really like your header. It is so colorful and perfect for the season. What a great photo to have in your treasure box. Isn't it so much fun to go back and see pictures of the past? My in-laws had a sofa just like the one posted in the picture. so neat...
ReplyDeleteLook at that carpet, along with the couch - the 80's were certainly colourful! Your girls look a lot like you.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see the photos again.
ReplyDeleteThat year, we only had our oldest son. (The other three came later 😏)
I wish you a wonderful, blessed Christmas.
I like to see the blast from the past photos as it shows styles in clothing and furniture.
ReplyDeleteThe Trillium ornament you and Far Guy made is on my little artificial tree.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful treasure!
ReplyDeleteA great old picture. We had a quiet day as well. Played Scrabble instead of Dominoes for a change.
ReplyDeleteI had a couch similar to that. Our lives ran the same time frames. Love seeing your family in 1980..
ReplyDeleteWe had that shag and colorful colors too!
ReplyDeleteThat style of red and white dress was very popular as my daughter had one as well.
Just love that old picture....bet you love your old memories of Christmases gone by. I sure do. Wishing you both a wonderful Christmas. Take good care.
