It was a quiet Saturday. Jen and I went out to a friends Flower Farm where they are getting ready for Christmas sales. We helped Sarah put together a number of arrangements with assorted greens, sticks, pinecones and festive picks. A few extra hands makes for fast creations! No photos...the next time I go out I will take some.
I am packaging up Christmas Ornaments 2025 and getting them ready to mail. There were two errors...easily fixed but I should not have made the error in the first place.
Our latest puzzle.
A very difficult puzzle....frustrating at times ...so many possibilities.
Far Guy and I had brats and scalloped potatoes for supper.
It was a very nice day. High was 50F or 10C and the low was 32F or 0C...there was frost on the roofs this morning.

That puzzle looks very difficult. I put together one a few months ago that was 1,000 pieces, all blue and white, and basically all the same shape except urn shaped border. I thought I would lose my mind it was so difficult, but I finished it! We’re finally cooling down here. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteI can see where the puzzle would have been frustrating. That's when I go by shape and not colour.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter sent a photo the other day and the grass is still green at home. I suspect there will be snow by the time I arrive in early December though.
Proud of you both for getting those ornaments done! That takes a lot of time, talent, patience, LOVE, and perseverance to reach that goal. What a blessing and tradition you have given to others. That puzzle - - - - oh my - - - we have done some with challenges - - a couple pop into my head - - - but that one - - - No, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle gave me a headache just looking at it. Mistakes happen.
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle looks very challenging!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it was a nice day. I would think after all the appointments all week you would be parked on the couch all weekend. I know I would be. You're a little ball of energy! I hope you have a relaxing Sunday. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle definitely looks like a frustrating one to me. So many similar colors. Whew! Brats and scalloped potatoes sound delicious. They go together so well. I think we grew up with very similar foods in our family background. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
One look at your puzzle and it says "hard".
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the puzzle I thought about how difficult it must have been. It sure is pretty
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have been very busy.
ReplyDeleteChallenging puzzle. :)
Your day was a little armer. A nice change.

This is such a cute puzzle. I'm giving all my big kiddos a puzzle for Christmas in their box of goodies. Hope they will enjoy them. Busyness keeps our minds from stressing...Hope you and FG, Sadie and Jen and her fam have a fabulous week ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun to go out and create some beautiful things at the flower farm. Many people will appreciate your efforts there, when they are shopping, I'm sure. You have such a talented and artistic family. that's awesome. Wow....a cool puzzle but don't know if I could have put it together. Take good care, glad you're getting your Christmas ornaments sent out. diane in northern wis
