We have many appointments this week. I see the PA who works under the Neurologist who did my spine surgery. I am 114 days post surgery! Far Guy sees his dietician, Primary Care Dr for a Pre Op Physical, his Pulmonary Doctor and then his Surgeon for the big surgery later in the week. Three medical appointments were put on hold this week..my PT appointment, my biopsy and Far Guy's Infusion.
One of these weeks things will slow down. For now juggling all the appointments is what we do.
The leaves are changing as our Summer turns to Fall.
We had a quiet Sunday, we had the last hurrah of Summer at our favorite Mexican place on their patio enjoying the food and the company of my other baby brother and she who sees robins first. Many of the "Summer" eating place close down after the tourists leave, and if they don't shut down totally they shut down a number of weekdays.
We gassed up the vehicle and were the only people at the gas station and after we dropped off our outgoing mail at the Post Office we drove down Main Street...if you shot off a cannon you would have only hit a few cars.
Minnesota weather: High 70F or 22C Low 51F or 11C eh! We had a rain shower in the afternoon and it was still fun to see the Summertime clouds in the sky. The weather report looks great for the next week or so daily highs in the 70's...so we will enjoy that!
So many appointments again! I'm thinking of you and wish you lots of strength with the "juggling."
ReplyDeleteHere too, the trees are turning color and many mushrooms are already there.
Truly autumn.
Kind regards.
Things are starting to change around here also. It will be a pretty fall, I hope.
ReplyDeleteThe tourists are ramped up here with the Apple and Art festivals happening along with the Harvest Festival coming in town with a parade.
You do have a busy week ahead. Safe travels and I pray all goes well! We are finally getting some rain and hopefully no more 90's. Both of you take care.
ReplyDeleteLove to see the leaves are starting to change. Fall is here!
ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly looks fall-ish in your neighborhood. That is a LOT of appointments, and I'm hoping and praying that all will go well for the surgery. Thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteKeeping you, Far Guy and family in my prayers as you go through this week.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of appointments. We had rain last night. The leaves are turning color and the boxelders are dropping theirs. Hoping you can catch a break soon with all the appointments.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with the medical appointments this week.
ReplyDeleteSo many appointments. I hope his surgery goes smoothly. We're seeing some beautiful transition weather right now. No wind, nice and warm during the day, and crisp cool at night.
ReplyDeleteYou've got this!
ReplyDeleteWe had a wee rain shower yesterday and it was wonderful! The harvests here are in full-swing: ensilage, onions, and pinto beans!!
ReplyDeleteYour color is pretty. I love seeing the change. Fall brings renewed energy for me, but it's also depressing to think what is coming - for me, that's not so bad, but you can anticipate such cold and snow.
ReplyDeleteHoping every appointment goes well for both of you! You guys got this! We have a similar situation here. The amusement park in the next county is only open on weekends until Halloween. Every restaurant is closed Monday, many closed on Tuesday. Yesterday the ice cream stand was closed because everyone called off (it was the day after Homecoming, lol). Fall is here, even if it is stinking hot and humid.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes in this hectic week. Thinking of FG.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 114 days that have passed since surgery. Here's to getting all the way healed up and having a fantastic new season.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well with your appointment! It's definitely starting to turn to fall here as well as the temperature drops and the leaves turn. I personally love the changing of the season and the crisp air that comes with fall. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou are rockin' post surgery!! Appointments will slow down eventually. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteWe try to visit places off tourist season. Even if it means less options.
Your weather sounds about like ours right now. We had rain Saturday night, and will be in the 70's for the coming week.
ReplyDeleteI have a PT appointment and a haircut this week. We plan to get outside and start the clean up, now that it is fall. Only windblown stuff is falling yet though. Real color is a ways off.
Good luck with oll of the appointments, and with FG's surgery.
Your weather is almost exactly like ours, including for the coming week. Temperatures in the low 70's F are ideal. You have a lot of appointments to juggle. I hope they all go as well as possible.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteThe Autumn Equinox started off with frost here, and a wind that stripped any of the yellow leaves, although we still have trees that are green.
Hope the surgery goes well
Be careful with that cannon!
ReplyDeleteYou guys have really been juggling appointments. Still thinking good thoughts often for FarGuy's surgery to be his key to freedom from the C-foe. I hope all goes well this week with good results. :)
