Midlife

Was it a midlife crisis that they both suffered at the same time?  Andy turned the big 50 in July, Jen will turn the same number in September...and what did they do in August?

It sure is pretty and now Andy can go to car shows!

Not sure I could ever drive anything with a hood that long but it might be fun to try!

  3. Love Andy's car. Wonderful way to celebrate mid-life. Not everyone lives to celebrate mid-life.

  4. They saw something shiny! Nice color. I enjoy long nosed vehicles, and used to wish for a sporty Jaguar. Ha! Too hard getting in/out. They are young and will enjoy this flashy purchase for many years. Will be curious what/if they name their car, once they get a feel for it.

  5. *haha* What the heck...whatever it was, I **love** this car!! For Dan & I, our midlife crisis vehicle was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and at 69yo we're still riding it today. But this beautiful red Corvette would have worked too!! *chuckle* Happy Birthday to Jen and Andy! Love, Andrea xoxo

  10. I do like shiny red cars! But my red Chevy, which Irene now has, was a Cruze, not a Stingray!

  14. LD....Oh my gosh! That is a beautiful beast. Actually it is a pretty lady with such great curves. He is young enough to not look unusual. I knew an old, larger guy that couldn't fit in the seat who looked funny behind the wheel. Andy will look great behind the wheel.

  17. Oh wow! I wouldn't mind having my photo taken in the driver's seat as if I were driving it and then send it to the kids saying...Look at my new ride ... for a fun reaction.
    It is beautiful.
My dad had one in 1962.
