Lilac

The Japanese Tree Lilac is blooming at the house next door it is a beauty!

I wonder if mine is blooming at home. Some years it blooms and some years it does not.

I had a busy day Friday entertaining Baby K who her Mom calls Bean, and showing Maddie how to make potato salad.

Far Guy did some woodcarving.  This years Christmas Ornament has been decided.

  10. Potato salad sounds good. How fun to have a baby around. I have a white lilac that seeded in among my Rose of Sharon. It's been raining here so much I haven't g one out to see if it's blooming....maybe not.
You already have the ornament decided? You guys don't let any grass grow under your feet even when you aren't feeling good. Still praying for you all. Enjoy the good days.

  11. Sounds like a good way to spend a day. The lilacs are blooming here in Nova Scotia too...though I'm not sure I'd know the difference between a Japanese and a regular lilac.

  15. Oh my - you guys are on the ball for the ornament! Of course now the wood needs acquired, the carving needs to start, painting supplies need purchased. It is amazing how fast time goes by.
The tree is beautiful but not as lovely as Miss Bean!
