Day by day

One day after another.  My pain is less now that I am taking some muscle relaxers. I walk many times a day. Yesterday’s goal was to get dressed…as the day before I just wanted to be in a nightgown all day.

I am writing on Tuesday night, Sadie goes to daycare on Tuesdays to romp with her friends all day. Supper was Mexican. Maddie and baby K visited in the afternoon. I got to feed baby K a bottle but she does not burp easily …so Jen took over. Baby K is tongue tied so she is having a procedure soon…poor little gal.

Far Guy and I had a quiet day tending to some phone calls etc and I crocheted a bit.

Today (Wednesday) Far Guy has a scan in the afternoon..a Pet Scan but no real dogs or cats are allowed.  The results will not be known until late Thursday afternoon.

My new crochet project it is called Apache Tears…each row is a different color..a good way to use up yarn!

  3. Some days a nightgown all day is the way to go.Holding a baby always makes you feel better. I’m sorry to hear about her procedure but I’ve heard it’s a relatively easy one. I’ll pray for her and for Far Guy too. Praying for miracles to happen.
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy

  6. The fact that you're crocheting is a good sign indeed, Connie. Yes, one step at a time...as hard as that is to do. Good luck with Far Guys PET scan today. I'm still praying for you both. ~Andrea xoxo

  8. I had to google tongue tied. Thank goodness it sounds like a relatively simple procedure, but sorry about her needing it.
Glad the muscle relaxers are helping with the pain and you are crocheting again.
Those PET scans take a while, but give more information. Praying for good news on it.
Hope you're having a good day, Connie. :)

  9. Getting dressed is a big step! You are doing great. Getting the pain under control is a biggie. How wonderful to have Baby K therapy. I am sure that makes everything a little better. Crossing toes and fingers and folding hands for good results on the PET scan.

  17. I am happy to hear your pain is getting to be less. Better every day (in the back pain department). I remembering watching dad like a hawk :) take care. The hurry up, hurry up and wait, wait, wait (is so very challenging). We are getting some real good sunshine today! The garden has grown by leaps and bounds from that good rain a couple of days ago and now the sunshine ~ watch out!
