Best parts of last week

We got to hold our newest Great Granddaughter when she was a week old, and got to visit with her Mama.  Baby K may end up being known as Klark...as that is what a number of people called her prior to her birth.

Behind her is the blanket I crocheted for her last Winter.   She slept the entire time we were there!   She has her own look.  I cannot truthfully say that she looks like anyone else... just herself.  We are blessed to have her in our family!

Great Grandson Hey Mikey's dog Sam.

She is a beauty who loves attention...I could have pet/scratched her all day.

And of course Sadie smiling, she was overjoyed to see us on Friday.

Sunday in Minnesota:  High 57F or 14C Low 48F or 9C.  It spit rain most of the day, not sure if we even got an inch.  It was smoky in the morning but it cleared up a bit in the afternoon.  We went out to lupper at our fav Sunday spot in the mid afternoon...I came home and had a four hour nap.

  4. She is beautiful! Such a headful of dark hair. So glad you had a wonderful visit. You are also our kind of people - - rest as your body needs it. It is how we keep going.

  5. She is a sweet baby. I have a niece with three boys in Arizona. Two of them look like the dad the third is just his own genetic combo with a look of his own. His dad is from Puerto Rico but this boy has none of that look at all.

  9. Klark is an interesting name, is it a family name? According to baby name meanings, it means scribe or clerk. Perhaps she'll follow in your footsteps and be the family historian. She's a cutie for sure.

  12. Beautiful baby. Love her hair. :-) Hey Mikey's dog is sure handsome. I love german shepherds and always wanted one. Our neighbors had one when I was a child and I played with him often. SO smart! Dennis doesn't care for them because he was biten by one as a child. Completely unprovoked. Sadie always makes me smile right along with her. She thinks you belong to her just like her Mom and Dad do.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
