I don't socialize much so when I do go out I am always amazed at 1)the price of things 2) and the lack of manners of the adults. I find the children and the locals here very polite but the "retirees" that have migrated here can be so rude I stand there in shock! Were they raised by wolves? Next time, (hopefully there won't be one) when he shows up....hide the Tootsie Rolls or tell him he owes you as they weren't free! LOL! They were a dollar each and somehow the sign got knocked down! I said: Nope, won't do that...I have to have SOMETHING to do! So for three hours I was in heaven...I filled up a data base that needed more information, I sorted and cataloged old photos, I dreamed I was back in time ... one of those photos was a panoramic of 1900 Delta, I photographed displays and made signs and even answered the phone. We had two visitors. I found intensely wonderful displays that I never saw before and pointed them out to the two visitors.

The whole experience was hugely fun!!!

Linda
http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
http://deltacountyhistoricalsociety.wordpress.comTerry and Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11016496778254072639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-60183712076294247212012-06-16T09:29:16.562-05:002012-06-16T09:29:16.562-05:00You're a saint! ;-)You're a saint! ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5456722259350114571.post-46778972108493842222012-06-16T09:21:39.651-05:002012-06-16T09:21:39.651-05:00Ah the unwashed public, well now we know why they ...Ah the unwashed public, well now we know why they call them the unwashed.

People are....well just people.
