My husband and I were up in your neck...Nice photos. My husband and I were up in your neck of the woods years back when a hawk hit the windshield. We didn't know what it was until after we stopped because of the loud noise. The birder/detective determined it was a hawk by the shape of the imprint it left on our slightly frosty window.
