Lunch at Costco

My sister in law (my baby brother’s bride) and I went to Costco.  It was my first visit to that store.  Far Guy could get all his steps in at that store!  They were giving out samples so we had lunch; popcorn, granola, squash remoulade, and the best chocolate ever!  It was a great lunch!

I came home had a nap and then weeded my flower bed.  It was a perfect Minnesota day about 70 degrees and only 30% humidity!!

I've never been to Costco but the free lunch sounds pretty great.

PS We always try to time our trips to Home Depot to partake of a free hotdog lunch. You do have to listen to a little spiel about air conditioners but it's worth it -- they are Nathan's hotdogs!

We go to Costco sometime and eat and buy things we don't
really need.

I have never been to a Costco. Not in the area where we shop. We do have Walmart’s big discount store here in town but probably won’t go there either.

Hope you bought some of that chocolate!

I, too, have never been to Costco. But I have eaten my way through a Sam's Store. I don't grocery shop inside a store any longer. And I love it!

70 degrees and 30% humidity.... and someone else making lunch.... with a nap afterward. Sounds like a bit of heaven on earth. I've never been to Costco either as it's quite a drive from where I live. Sam's Club is too. Perhaps one day I'll make the effort to venture their way. Blessings~ Andrea

Your weather sounds perfect! We go to Costco about once a month to stock up on meat and paper goods. We love the quality of their meats. I also love it when they have sales in their photo lab. I have a ton of old family videos and slide pictures and I'm slowly getting them all changed to dvd/digital. I scan the old photos myself but let the professionals do the rest when on sale.

"A perfect Minnesota day" sounds like the first line of a song.

We have Costco less than one mile from our house. I see people actually eating lunch there everyday. They will eat 5-6 of the same sample and then move on to the next one!
Blessings,
Betsy

There's a Costco not that far from our town. We don't have a card but have gone with others who do. It certainly is a big place with lots and lots of temptations. Better that I not go there.

I'm surprised at how many commented that they have never been to Costco. But I suppose it depends on where you live and how close you are to a Costco store. We shop there for certain things, but some shop there for everything.

Oh I do love having lunch at Costco! There is one in Durham so when I visit Shelby we go there. I always have a large slice of pizza and a pepsi, after tryinga few samples, then a berry sundae. I go all out. :)
