Sunday afternoon

Sunday afternoon we played cards with the neighbors. We have not had company in a long time.  It was good to see them.

We played the card game Golf and waited for it to start raining…but the rain held off until evening.  I heard on facebook that thunder and lightening may be headed this way. Poor Chance will have to hide.

We are in a Winter Storm Warning until Tuesday morning.  We are supposed to get rain, ice and snow.  Hope it is not too much ice.

There were 10 inches of snow at the snowstick just before dark last night.

Hope the storm doesn't end up being a bad one.

We are gearing up for the storm also. Hopefully it won't be too bad!
Sounds like having friends over was such a relaxing thing to do.

Hope the storm doesn't materialize. We were supposed to have rain/snow today but now it looks like just going to be very windy. Having friends over must have been really nice for a change.

It is so nice once again to click on your blog for "everyday events" instead of startling news! Hope you don't have any more of that for a long time. When things are "ordinary" value it.

The predicted snow was blown around my area, but the winds remain. March is by far the windiest month for this area. It blows off the snow-covered mountains, so it's a bitter wind.

We used to play cards with friends on Saturday nights but we haven't gotten together in a long time. Your post brought back those memories, I'm going to call them this week and see if we can set up a card game!! Thank you!

Good to have fun with other people. I hope you don't get the weather in your forecast.

We were supposed to have rain, snow, thunder and lighting, but it went around us.

We had rain, hail, more rain yesterday with harsh winds. Woke up to a white world and the winds are still harsh. Stay warm! Be careful. There's got to be one heck-of-a-layer of ice underneath the pretty white blanket. ;)

Have you tried those thunder shirts for pooches? My friend has one for her dog and says they work. Just a thought. Happy to hear you are healthy and able to see friends again.

I can remember as a child my parents playing cards with extended family and neighbours not something I have ever done though

I love playing Golf. When we get together with DH's family at our house that's what we play. When at their houses they always choose Dominoes ( which I enjoy too).

We had rain and thunder and lightning yesterday during the soccer match, and lots of snow in the mountains closed the interstate highway.

Wish I was there! We had high fire danger warnings and high wind warnings.....didn't we just have a week of rain? How can that be? You stay warm and safe. Have you heard of the card game Quix, I think? Yarn Hoarder took it on their cruise with her family and they said they played it every day and loved it. I may pick it up at Walmart for when the boys come. We also like Sequence which is cards but on a game board. I'll have to look up Golf rules.
