Frosting

We had a frosty morning.

Far Guy said “When snow falls we say it is snowing, when frost falls out of the trees we should say it is frosting.”

Frost March 8

The blue sky was a beautiful background for the frost.   We had frosting for awhile as the frost fell out of the trees.  It was a chilly morning yesterday –4 F or –20 C eh! Perhaps that was the last of the below zero mornings for the winter…one can hope.

Heavy hoar frost is one of my favorites. Yes, I would understand frosting.

Beautiful, Connie. Hoar frost is stunning, but the cold that comes with it, not so much!

There is nothing prettier than frost and the cold blue skies in Winter! Spring is on it's way as it is here now so it's only a matter of time...2 weeks tops, I bet before you see it.
