Ornament Winners

We are having a winter storm today.  It began snowing yesterday.  The wind is supposed to blow and visibility is supposed to be very low.  We will be staying home.

The other day when it wasn’t snowing we saw a sundog.

Sundog on the prairie

The sun is off to the far right just at the edge of the photo.  Sundogs are usually seen on really cold days…sometimes there is one, sometimes two on each side of the sun and sometimes they are connected by a circular thin band of pink.

I will get the ornaments mailed off to the winners as soon as the weather clears.

Red and Kansas Kay!  Congratulations!

I've been seeing sun dogs here, too. They always remind me of my Mom.

Rats. Another year, another not a winner. Maybe that's because one year you'll do a sheep! :-D

It's even sort of wintery here! We got a bit of that white stuff yesterday, and more to come later in the week. Congrats to the ornament winners!

Lovely sundog photo. Congrats to the winners . It is pouring rain here this evening windy and mild , so much for parts of Ontario being part of the great white Canadian north eh?! lol ! not one snow flake here in southwestern Ontario .

Glad you're able to stay home. Sure sounds like some nasty weather. Lovely capture of that sundog, though!

Congrats to the winners! Your ornament is a unique work of art.

Wa hoo!I won! Thanks. I've always wanted one of your carvings. Now for the bad news. I'm sending you some very cold weather . It was a high of minus 20 C (minus 5 F) today.

Congratulations to the winners! Red seems like a friend I've met, but Kansas Kay is a new one for me. How cool to win one of Connie's carvings. :-)

Congrats to the winners! I missed out with no internet. Just as well as I won last year and my little house and tree are on my Christmas mantle...love! My daughter loved them when she saw them this summer too.

Congrats to the winners. We're in the middle of a deep freeze here....the windchill is a windkill.....my face still hurts tonight from being out there at chore time. Stay tuned...it's probably coming your way.
